The Eyes of God, The Devil and the Beginning of Time in the Garden, 2000, Oil in canvas

In the Judeo-Christian myth of Adam and Eve, Eve reaches         for the forbidden fruit of knowledge in the Garden of Eden as she is goaded         on by the devil (in the guise of a snake). The all-seeing God watches         as she grabs for the fruit.

Birth of an Idea, 2001, Oil on canvas

Birth of an Idea, 2001, Oil on canvas

The act of creation, by its very nature, is a process of creating a new 'life.' The artist puts a bit of himself in each piece he creates. Even when the artist is long gone, the artwork will live on. Each painting I create is like one of my children.

What is in a Man's Heart #2, 2000, Oil on canvas

What is in a Man's Heart #2, 2000, Oil on canvas

There         are many ways a man is able to generate enough hate in his heart to kill         another. Threats to his family or his woman. Injustice. No matter how         a man justifies killing another man, it is wrong, but sometimes I can         understand the rage that he must feel under certain circumstances.

Hope for the Flood, 2002, Oil on canvas

Hope for the Flood, 2002, Oil on canvas

This piece is based on the Judeo-Christian myth of Moses         parting the Red Sea as they hurried away from Egypt.

White Man, 2000, Oil on canvas

White Man, 2000, Oil on canvas

The White Man, or pure man, is able to keep his lust under         control, but even he is tempted by beauty.

Rebuild, 2001, Oil on canvas

Rebuild, 2001, Oil on canvas

This piece was created in response to the tragedy of 9-11.         I have witnessed spiders rebuild their webs in a matter of hours after         they were completely destroyed. As an artist, I tried to harbor a         more creative attitude that was more about rebuilding a better, stronger         America, rather than the destructive attitude of war and revenge.
